ILOILO CITY, Nov. 7(PIA)—The Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2015 will have more dances, less props, a showcase beyond the usual, according to the organizers.
Iloilo Tourism Officer Ben Jimena said his office and the Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation aims a nationwide reach with more performances for the At-Ati competition, rather than too much noise and voluminous props.
“We will reduce the pros, introduce the pairing up of tribes with young students in colourful costumes to create impressive appearance,” Jimena said.

On the other hand, Kasadyahan will become a national cultural festival with all the other regional festivals joining.

“Some 30 festivals are expected to join their festival costumes to be worn by Ilongga models and paraded down the streets,” Jimena said.

The event is a four-day National Festival Costumes Expo, where two venues are identified for the exhibits, namely, The Calle Real whose renovated is expected to be completed before the year ends and the Iloilo Business Part at the Megaworld.

Meanwhile, Ati-Ati tribes and the Kasadyahan tribes are starting to assemble their groups and doing initial rehearsals.
